Ajax lost this game with 1 - 0, this means Ajax is out of the UEFA Cup tournament. Ajax played good. They actually were the better one, but the attacking line left all chanches wasted.
The game was played in the Dinamo stadium and not at Spartak's home ground, because that stadium is currently under construction.
Ajax had to miss a few players, cause of injuries. Litmanen was again able to play half an hour, but even Jari couldn't change the "0" on the scoreboard.
There were more than 1000 Ajax-fans in Russia, this was very surprising, because Ajax was already 3-1 down before they entered the pitch and because Russia is so F**K**G COLD.
This was the first time Ajax played in Russia.
After the game there was a little poll on the web;
Morten Olsen had to resign according to the poll.
The new coach had to be Co Adriaanse of Willem II, because he is formiliour with Ajax' playing style. In the past Adriaanse was head of the youth department... at Ajax (!).
Actually NOBODY was satisfied with the current play-style.
